  • WWE news: Smackdown sets record low number

    Smackdown last night, going against college football, did 1.98 million viewers last night, the lowest audience since the show has been on Syfy with the exception of a July 4th airing.

  • WWE Raw ratings for 8/31

    The Monday, August 31 edition of WWE Raw did the best numbers for the show since June 15 of this year — likely due a boost coming from the buzz created by the show the previous Monday.

    The show did 3.89 million viewers, up 170,000 from the show the day after SummerSlam.  The audience stayed relatively steady throughout the show.

    The three hours were:

    – 8 p.m. 3.87 million viewers

    – 9 p.m. 3.99 million viewers

    – 10 p.m. 3.83 million viewers

  • WWE News: Disappointing Raw numbers (August 24) after big SummerSlam weekend

    Monday’s August 24th edition of WWE Monday Night Raw did what had to be considered disappointing numbers coming off a big SummerSlam weekend, down slightly from last week, doing 3.72 million viewers, not much above the summer average.

    The unadvertised surprises of Sting, Ric Flair, and the Dudleys probably helped minimally, if at all, since few knew ahead of time they would be there.

    Raw finished second for the night on cable behind NFL preseason football.

    The three hours were:

    – 8 p.m. 3.61 million viewers

    – 9 p.m. 3.79 million viewers

    – 10 p.m. 3.76 million viewers

  • TV ratings for TNA and Ring of Honor: Wednesday, August 19

    TNA showed increases their first-run show and replay on Wednesday doing 323,000 viewers for the 9 p.m. show and 73,000 for the midnight replay.  The 396,000 total viewers is the best since 7/29 with the first episode performing the best since 8/5.

    Ring of Honor at 11 p.m. did 145,000 viewers, slightly down from the prior week.

  • Raw ratings notes

    Raw had a weak first hour, but grew during the show to finish at 3.68 million viewers, which is in the range of what the show has been doing all summer.

    The number is down three percent from last week’s day after Battleground show which featured the Undertaker and Brock Lesnar brawl.

    The three hours were

    8 p.m. 3.42 million viewers

    9 p.m. 3.75 million viewers

    10 p.m. 3.84 million viewers

  • WWE News: Tough Enough and Total Divas ratings

    Last night’s episode of Tough Enough did 1.22 million viewers, the best of the three episodes so far and up from 1.05 million the week before.

    Total Divas last night opened its season to 975,000 viewers.

  • WWE News: Monday’s Raw rating

    While up from last week’s record modern era seasonal low, Raw’s numbers will still at low levels Monday night, doing 3.65 million viewers.

    The number was up about 190,000 from the prior week.  The audience remained steady based on the hourly breakdowns.

    The three hours were:

    8 p.m. 3.64 million viewers

    9 p.m. 3.69 million viewers

    10 p.m. 3.62 million viewers
