September 26 2008 Bryan and Vinny Show
It’s days like this when I feel like I’m on THE COUCH. It’s a new Bryan & Vinny Show and we’ve got a lackluster edition of Ultimate Fighter, a pretty damn good edition of ECW, and the SECOND THUMBS UP IMPACT IN TWO WEEKS. We’ll discuss all the matches and angles and, yes, things that drove me nuts. I know some people think sometimes I’m losing my mind, but I feel that my outburts are good for my mental health. No call-ins, but we did talk to Granny about Dancing with the Stars for Les, and also modern-day political issues. You get it all here.

Calls and mailbag take up the first 30 minutes, then we’re joined by Les Thatcher to talk modern day wrestling, wrestling history, training, why middle-aged fans have stopped following the product so closely, D-Lo Brown, Nigel McGuinness, and tons more! Thanks to everyone who called in!

September 22 2008 Tough Talk
Tough Talk returns with a very special interview with UFC’s President
of European Operations Marshall Zelaznik. He gives a first-ever
glimpse into the financials behind the European expansion, Lorenzo
Fertitta’s exact role in developing the brand, how ticket sales are
doing for Birmingham, TUF9 US vs UK, why Michael Bisping hasn’t yet
been announced as a TUF coach, coming to Scotland and Ireland,
expanding into the European continent and Randy Couture’s role in the
expansion, self-regulation, drug testing and what would – and in fact:
did – happen in case of a failure, WEC coming to the UK and much more.
Mike Sawyer and Oliver Copp then review last week’s Ultimate Fight
Night, including Clay Guida’s fighting style, and go into detail on
the first episode of TUF8. 76 minutes of MMA – no excuses.
