Tough Talk returns with Jonathan Snowden and Tom “The Tank” Egan and
an all-round crazy show. UFC’s youngest fighter, a true Irish native,
talks about growing up in and around Dublin, training with Ireland’s
foremost fight team, his upcoming fight against John Hathaway at UFC
93 and how he is expecting it to go. Jonathan Snowden, author of the
critically-acclaimed MMA book “Total MMA” then joins the show to talk
about his book, the Yakuza, Dave Meltzer, what had to remain on the
cutting floor, thinking about releasing a second book, the X-rated
version of Lou Thesz’ autobiography “Hooker”, UFC’s international
expansion and the options they have, Gina Carano, Ric Flair’s
retirement, who will be UFC’s biggest star in 2009, Michael Bisping’s
chances against Anderson Silva and how the BJ Penn-GSP fight is going
to go. Mike Sawyer and Oliver Copp then turn to UFC 93 and where they
see it going, Coleman’s chances against Shogun, Peter North’s big
party at the Penthouse Club and what you wouldn’t have wanted to touch
there, a former UFC champion getting thrown out of the club after
pulling guard in a fight and a whole lot more. 110 minutes of MMA.

January 10 2009 Adam and Mike Show
The original alternate returns this week with 100 minutes of audio, because you
damn sure haven’t heard enough of us already in the last couple of days.
Topics include, but aren’t limited to: Jarkko Ruutooth, Team Canada playing
like they wanted the Saskatchewan Hardcore International Title but ending up
with the big gold, the Flyers look to cash a Czech?, Sean Avery suspended for
breathing, a look at some NHL teams free agency and salary cap
concerns, and
after 40 minutes of that it’s another 60 on New Japan’s Wrestle Kingdom
III Tokyo Dome extravaganza. Believe it or not, there was more than just Brother
Devon’s fat bouncing headbutt. Yes, it’s the radio show with those guys
who you saw were on Figure Four Daily, and said “Man, I really love those
guys on Tough Talk”; It’s the Adam & Mike BIG AUDIO NIGHTMARE~!
Proudly here at Fuckthesnow.com. (Really.) -
January 9 2009 Figure Four Daily
We’ve got an extra big edition of Figure Four Daily today. Didn’t quite make two-hours because I have to head out to see THE WRESTLER, but it is about 90 minutes of pro-wrestling and MMA talk on a variety of subjects. First we’re joined by Mike Sempervive and Adam Summers of the Adam & Mike Big Audio Nightmare to talk the Japanese, including the big January 4th Tokyo Dome Show. Afterwards we’ll do about 30 minutes of mailbag questions on every conceivable subject, including worst cities, injuries, Legacy and more. Check it out!

January 9 2009 Karl Stern Show
A giant sized edition of the Karl Stern show. In this episode I answer more listener email with questions on submission wrestling and topics including Frank Gotch, Farmer Burns, Big Van Vader, Sting, review of Larry Zbyszko’s new book, and the debut of GEEK TALK with comic book, podcast, and Rush goodness.

January 9 2009 Bryan and Vinny Show
We’re back tonight with a one-hour plus show, God knows how that is possible, recapping ECW and TNA. Yes, this show is longer than ECW itself, and twice as long as the amount of wrestling on Impact this week. We’ll talk the good and bad of both shows, the most nonsensical match of 2009 which cannot possibly be topped, buying tickets, Vince’s failures, ice cream, and chat with Granny. This is your portal to the weekend so travel though it now, or something.

January 8 2009 Figure Four Daily
We’ve got a huge hour-plus edition of Figure Four Daily today! An excellent show, so check it out!

January 7 2009 Wrestling Observer
We’ve got a huge edition of Wrestling Observer Radio today as Dave Meltzer and I are joined by former multi-time World Champion and New York Times bestselling author Mick Foley, who headlines this Sunday’s TNA PPV in a six-man tag. We’ll discuss a number of subjects in this hour-long interview including his TNA run, The Wrestler, getting screamed at in the headsets and leaving WWE, grooming superstars, future plans, and yes, roller-coasters at the Impact Zone. A really fun show, so check it out!

January 7 2009 Bryan and Vinny Show
We have a somewhat DELIRIOUS edition of the Bryan & Vinny Show tonight — no, not the wrestler, though perhaps his character became the way it is after reading thousands of pages of federal documents in a couple days. But the meat of the matter — Raw, Smackdown, songs, shout-outs and more, that’s what we’re all about. Enough jibber jabber. Download this. And it’s FREE! So please post the link or file elsewhere and help spread the word about wrestlingobserver.com!!!! And sign up today for much, much more!
