Another free DragonKing Flashback show featuring pro wrestling author Scott Williams. Scott was the author of a book on the history of ECW, the Bill Watts biography, and the Terry Funk biography (one of my favorite wrestling books). Scott is also working on a Chris Benoit book, though at the time this interview was conducted no one knew what tragedy lay ahead. Scott has always been a tremendous guest, very open and enthusiastic about his books. I’ll say this- Scott’s books are always among the best written pro wrestling books. Enjoy.

Free DragonKing Flashback Show. One of the wackiest interviews I’ve ever done. Dr. Tom Prichard was a champion everywhere he went- Portland, Texas, Alabama, Tennessee, and Smoky Mountain. Though his time as a wrestler was short in WWE he went on to be a trainer there training some of the best of the era including The Rock and Kurt Angle. While conducting this interview via cell phone he ran over somebody in a parking lot. Seriously. While that part was clipped out it made for a crazy disjointed interview!

Another DragonKing Flashback show. On this episode I speak with Jimmy Powell. Who? Jimmy Powell is the original Dirty White Boy, a gimmick later used by Tony Anthony and Len Denton. Powell worked for Nick Gulas and Georgia Championship Wrestling and Continental wrestling during the 1980’s. He talks about the Gulas days, including greats that came from the area including Bobby Eaton. He also talks about Tony Anthony taking the DWB gimmick and his thoughts on it. One of the better enhancement workers of the mid to late 1980’s.
