Karl Stern Classic Wrestling Audio Show Special Series:  The history of pro wrestling in America Part 1!  This is the first of a multi-part show covering how wrestling evolved from various combat styles into the pure entertainment form it is today.  On this show we examine the early days of the pioneer era and talk about people like Abraham Lincoln, Col. James H. McLaughlin, John McMahon, William Muldoon, H.M. Dufur, and early championships.

On this edition of the Karl Stern Classic Wrestling Audio Show the first half of the show was taped on the road while waiting out a thunderstorm so I ramble about my journey as a fan of classic pro wrestling.  The second half of the show is the standard questions and topics from listeners which covers Otto Wanz, WCW in 1999, and the Observer Hall of Fame.
