  • December 11 2007 Bryan and Vinny Show

I did the best I could. This week I’m dying of influenza. Still got through nearly 90 minutes, but I nearly died near the end. No drops or songs, sorry. But we did recap a hugely entertaining Raw 15th anniversary show, and one of the best MMA events of the entire year, the TUF season finale. As much fun as you can have anticipating your own death. Best of all, it’s FREE, so please post the link or file elsewhere and help spread the word about figurefouronline.com!

IT’S THE WEEKEND BRYAN & VINNY SHOW~! We’ve got four big shows to discuss, but first, it’s time to LAY DOWN THE LAW ABOUT TNA. My sanity is at stake, and changes must be made. After getting that business out of the way, it’s a discussion of a wretched Impact, a boring ECW, an average Smackdown, and a fun last episode of Ultimate Fighter. Vinny and I will also preview tonight’s TUF, always an exciting segment. A fun way to kick off the weekend!

  • December 6 2007 Karl Stern Show

This week is a little different. I talk about when pro wrestling become worked and how styles changed over the years. How people who say wrestling was better back in my day don’t realize wrestling has always changed. I looked at cards from 1916, 1940, 1960, 1980, and 1998 and compare the workers and styles. Also this show a look at the early career of Ricky Steamboat including the unusual name he started working under. Also I answer listener questions on Continental, The Zodiac, and more.

Huge Bryan & Vinny Show today as we’ll discuss the TNA PPV, a show that started really good and fell off a cliff in the last hour or so, and the ROH MAN UP~! PPV, which we have determined was, value-wise, the single greatest PPV of all time. We’ll discuss the controversial ladder match, Joe’s weird promo, what happened to Scott Hall and Rhino, Danielson vs. Morishima love, Gail vs. Kong love, Storm vs. Harris love — in fact, just a lot of love here in the Christmas season.
