On today’s DragonKingKarl Classic Wrestling Show, we continue the longform history of pro wrestling series as we enter the mid-1970s.

Giant Baba and Antonio Inoki are battling over who is king of Japan, the NWA is still a worldwide powerhouse, and Jack Brisco is the NWA World Heavyweight Champion — except for briefly dropping the title to Baba.

Plus, the WWWF and the AWA continue to grow and professional wrestling in Atlanta and Florida are red hot. Pro wrestling is on the rise — and 1974 is a heck of a year.
