Tarot cards evoke images of the esoteric and the occult, and sporting names like “The Devil”, “The Hanged Man”, “The Tower”, and “Death”, it’s not hard to understand why they stoke the imagination.

While decks of cards have been used for millennia for divination, the tarot’s antiquity is someone in question. While they have been linked to ancient Egypt. the evidence is somewhat questionable. Nevertheless, the tarot are imaginative, interesting, and somewhat scary.
